Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form an agreement between you and The House of Tatum LLC, trading as UnfoldIT (“UnfoldIT”, “we”, “us”), the provider of the UnfoldIT digital invitation service at unfoldit.app (the “Service”). Questions: support@unfoldit.app.
1. Acceptance
By creating an account, purchasing, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or client, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization. If you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age to enter a contract.
2. The Service
UnfoldIT lets you design, publish, and share interactive digital invitations, collect RSVPs and guest details, and send event communications. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have selected.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.
4. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- break the law or facilitate unlawful activity;
- commit fraud, send spam, or send unsolicited bulk messages to people who have not agreed to hear from you about your event;
- infringe anyone’s intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
- upload malware, probe or interfere with our security, scrape the Service, or attempt to circumvent plan limits or technical restrictions;
- reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service.
5. Guest data
When you collect guest names, contact details, RSVP responses, or dietary information, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect and share that information with us, and for using it only for your event. We process guest data on your behalf as described in our Privacy Notice.
6. AI-generated content
The Service includes AI features that generate images, decorative overlays, and text from your prompts. You are responsible for your prompts, for having the rights to any content you input, for how you use the outputs, and for verifying that outputs are accurate and suitable for your event. AI outputs may be inaccurate or unexpected and are provided without warranty of accuracy.
You must not use the AI features to produce illegal content, deepfakes or misleading depictions of real people, hate speech, harassment, sexual content involving minors, or malware, or to attempt to bypass safety filters. We may filter, refuse, restrict, or remove generated content, and may suspend accounts for misuse.
As between you and us, you retain rights in the content you upload, and we assign to you such rights as we hold in the outputs generated for you, to the extent permitted by law and by our AI providers. If you believe content on the Service infringes your rights, email support@unfoldit.app with details and we will review and remove infringing content where appropriate. Accounts that repeatedly infringe will be terminated.
7. Our intellectual property
We retain ownership of the Service and everything in it that is ours — software, templates, design system, documentation, and branding. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you and your guests.
8. Payment and billing
UnfoldIT is the seller of record for all orders. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider, Stripe; we never store or see your full card details.
Payment, billing frequency, renewal, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are set out in these terms. Our refund windows are set out in our Refund Policy. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
9. Service level
We work hard to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. When access ends, you may export your guest data for 30 days, after which your content may be deleted.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow exclusion.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your guest communications, your unlawful use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
13. General
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, and the courts located there will have jurisdiction, without limiting mandatory consumer rights in your home jurisdiction. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. If we change these Terms materially we will notify you by email or in the app.
